Features

The X-Bolt Speed models are renowned for their reliability and precision in the field of hunting rifles. Setting themselves apart with both performance and aesthetics, these rifles feature a barreled action shielded by a durable cerakote finish. The camouflage pattern on the lightweight composite stock complements the fluted, sporter weight precision barrel, ensuring a distinctive appearance that is more than skin deep. However, the true hallmark of these rifles lies in their exceptional performance. The new X-Bolt 2 Speed Carbon Fiber model pushes the boundaries of accuracy with its carbon fiber wrapped barrel from Preferred Barrels. Each barrel undergoes meticulous craftsmanship, starting as a precision-bored and button-rifled blank, then stress relieved to ensure optimal performance. Unlike simpler designs, the carbon fiber wrapping process used here enhances strength and stiffness, offering functional benefits that elevate performance beyond mere appearance. Thespeed carbon fiber rifle includes a Recoil Hawg muzzle brake and thread protector cap, enhancing control and protection. The action is bedded and the barrel is free-floated for consistent precision. A cerakote Tungsten finish on the action and barrel provides superior metal protection compared to traditional finishes. The DLX trigger, featuring a three-lever design with zero creep, zero take-up and minimal overtravel, is set at a factory-tuned 3.5 lb (adjustable down to 3.0 lb), ensuring crisp, predictable trigger performance. The lightweight Vari-Tech composite stock offers 3-way adjustment, utilizing Browning OVIX for effective concealment across diverse terrains. A thicker Inflex recoil pad enhances comfort, while rubber over molding on the gripping surfaces ensures a secure hold in any conditions. For hunters, where every moment counts, the Vari-Tech stock’s customizable adjustments ensure a perfect fit, optimizing alignment with optics and providing a natural extension of the shooter’s body. This precision translates into quicker, more accurate first shots and faster follow-ups, crucial for success in the field.
