Features

The X-Bolt Speed models are renowned for their unwavering reliability and precision in the field. Distinctive in both performance and aesthetics, these rifles feature a robust barreled action shielded by a resilient cerakote finish, complemented by camouflage on the lightweight composite stock and a fluted, sporter weight precision barrel. However, their reputation isn’t merely skin-deep. The striking appearance of the Speed rifle is matched by its exceptional accuracy, making it a favored choice for discerning hunters. The new X-Bolt 2 speed carbon fiber pushes the boundaries further, prioritizing pinpoint accuracy without compromise. A standout feature is the carbon fiber wrapped barrel from Preferred Barrels, meticulously crafted through extensive research and precision engineering. Each barrel begins as a precisely bored and button-rifled blank, ensuring optimal performance and durability. Unlike cheaper alternatives, our barrels utilize a robust carbon fiber wrapping process for enhanced strength and rigidity, outperforming traditional sleeve constructions. Equipped with a Recoil Hawg muzzle brake and thread protector cap, the Speed Carbon Fiber rifle’s action is expertly bedded and the barrel free-floated, guaranteeing consistent, reliable accuracy. The cerakote tungsten finish on the redesigned action and barrel offers superior protection compared to standard finishes. Enhancing shooting precision, the DLX trigger features a three-lever design with zero creep, zero take-up and zero overtravel, set at a factory-prescribed 3.5 lb (adjustable down to 3.0 lb). The lightweight Vari-Tech composite stock is a marvel of adaptability, featuring three-way adjustment and Browning OVIX concealment for optimal camouflaging across diverse terrains. A thicker Inflex recoil pad enhances comfort during extended hunts. The stock’s configurability rivals chassis-style designs, allowing easy adjustments to comb height for perfect eye-to-optic alignment. Internal spacers provide a solid, noise-free length of pull adjustment, while interchangeable sporter and vertical grip modules offer personalized ergonomic comfort. Rubber over molding on grip surfaces ensures secure handling in any condition, crucial for maintaining control in critical moments. Designed to shave off crucial seconds in the field, the Vari-Tech stock transforms the rifle into a seamless extension of your body, enabling swift, accurate initial shots and precise follow-ups. For hunters seeking the ultimate edge in accuracy and adaptability, the X-Bolt 2 Speed Carbon Fiber stands as a testament to Browning’s commitment to excellence in every detail.
