Features
Ruger proudly presents the Ruger American Rifle Generation II, an enhanced version of the renowned American-made rifle that has set the standard for accuracy, durability, and performance in bolt-action rifles for over a decade. The upgraded features include a robust and visually appealing Cerakote finish on the barreled action, a threaded bolt handle, a stainless steel bolt body, and an intuitive three-position tang safety. This safety mechanism not only locks the bolt to prevent inadvertent opening but also allows the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged.
The sturdy stock of the Generation II boasts a removable comb riser to enhance sight alignment when utilizing optics. Additionally, it incorporates a length of pull (LOP) spacer that can be easily removed or replaced, catering to a variety of statures. Crafted with valuable customer feedback in mind, the Ruger American Rifle Generation II is poised to become the preferred choice for both hunters and firearms enthusiasts.
For those seeking versatility, the Generation II Ranch models showcase a striking Cobalt Cerakote finish and are paired with a Flat Dark Earth stock featuring a distinctive black splatter texture. With shorter 16″ barrels, these rifles are not only lighter but also more compact. By removing the included LOP spacer (common to all Gen II rifle stocks), the rifle transforms into an ultra-compact 12″ LOP configuration, specifically catering to smaller shooters right out of the box.
